Inside Country
Responsibility of a Sponsor / Guarantor
The Sponsor / Guarantor is responsible for each of his / her visitors.
The Sponsor / Guarantor should make sure the visitors exit the country (UAE) on time and avoid OVERSTAY.
In case if the Immigration system shows overstay, the sponsor is responsible to get the clearance report.
What is the procedure for OVERSTAY clearance?
The Immigration system reports OVERSTAY when the visitor exceeds the number of days permitted to stay inside UAE. If the visitor is still inside country, the sponsor should make sure his visitor exit UAE as soon as possible by paying the OVERSTAY fine in the airport.

In rare case, Immigration system reports OVERSTAY even if the visitor exit the country. In such cases the sponsor / guarantor needs to send us a copy of the exit stamp seal in the visitor's passport.

In case if the visitor has used eGate for exit, we will not be able to clear the exit from our side.
In such case, the sponsor / guarantor is responsible to get the exit clearance certificate from the airport Immigration, where the visitor exited the country. The sponsor / guarantor has to collect the visitors boarding pass, passport copy , visa page and go to the airport Immigration. Get the clearance certificate and send it to us.
